That's a Wrap: A Festive Sarasota Vacation Look

June 2, 2019

Summer is almost here, and I’m ready for it! I love bold, bright colors and fun prints & patterns; plus, I am not one to shy away from a statement piece (oversized earrings are a must). Summer is also the perfect time to get crazy with all those colors and styles (because a tropical pineapple skirt in November might be a bit strange in TN, just sayin’).

I wanted to put something together that screamed vacation/tropical/summer/100% out-of-office. Funny enough, I completely fit in with my surroundings when we were in Sarasota, FL (and probably stuck out as a tourist, but oh well!). We stopped at a coffee place called Lelu's that my google searches had led me to (thanks reddit!) and it did not disappoint. It was one of the few coffee places (that I’ve tried) that offer banana coffee combo concoctions (before you say ew, just try it. Dunkin' Donuts has a banana split coffee right now that is pretty close) and it was a delicious! The coffee shop has a super chill vibe too; very surf-shop-meets-tropical-bungalow, so I felt like my ensemble fit right in.

For this look, I paired a simple white off the shoulder top with a ruffle wrap skirt that has the cutest print! I was feeling the senorita vibes on this one, for sure. I love how breezy and playful this wrap skirt is!

I added some gold palm leaf earrings and a long chain necklace, along with my new favorite straw crossbody. I added the yellow wedges (I get so much use out of these babies), and then we were off on our adventures for the day (brought to you by copious amounts of iced banana coffee)!

Wrap skirt - Aida Zak (sold out but exact one can be found here) | Palm earrings - Kookai |
Straw crossbody - Amazon | Wedges (simialr) - Kohls | Top - Shein

I can’t wait to share some more summer looks on the blog soon!
